Frequently Asked Questions 
Below are a few questions and answers that might come up throughout the school year.
Q: What if I forget my PE uniform?
A: ALL students are required to dress out and participate in PE everyday. If a student forgets their PE uniform a loaner uniform will be provided for them to wear. Students must have their ID card for the exchange. Students who refuse to dress out for PE class or get PE loaners will receive a referral for defiance.
Q: Do students share lockers?
A: NO!!! Every students is issued their own PE locker. Students are expected to keep an eye on thier belongings and lock their personal belongings in their own locker. Students should not bring any valuables to school. JMS and PE department are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Q: What do I do if I am sick?
A: If you are well enough to be at school, then you are will enough to dress out and participate on a "self limit" basis. ALWAYS dress first then tell MS. ALONZO that you are not feeling well.
PARENT'S notes are vaild for 3 days only. Please include the name of student, specific reason for excuse, phone number to reached and parent signature.
DOCTOR'S notes are required after 3 days.
Q: What is the make up policy?
A: Upon return to school, students are required to find out what they missed for day(s) they were absent. Click on the "Absences" link to print out and complete a "MAKE UP" sheet to earn missed participation points. This must be turned in one week from date of last absence. Remember, unexcused absences will affect students' grade.
Q: Will we have homework in PE?
A: Yes! Expect to have some kind of homework in our class. It will not be as much as your other classes, but we might have some throughout the year. Please check this site regularly for any homework assignments. For more information click on the "Homework" link.
